This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and how you can have it deleted.
What we collect & how we use it
When you sign in with Google we receive your Google account email and display name. We use them to log you in, share your cohort’s Google Drive folder with you, and show your name on your dashboard and your tutor’s roster. When you enroll, payment is processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card number, only a payment reference and the amount. During your cohort we record per-session attendance, used only to determine eligibility for the 2-Class Satisfaction Guarantee, along with any optional feedback you choose to give. If you book a one-on-one private session, we create a Google Calendar invite and add you as an attendee, and the payment is processed by Stripe.
Any feedback you give on the post-class feedback form is stored without a link to your account — we can read what was said, but not who said it.
Who else handles your data
We use a small number of service providers to run AlbanianVoice, and they only receive what they need to do their job: Stripe (payments), Google (sign-in, Drive folders, and private-session calendar invites), Resend (email delivery), Inngest (scheduling the reminder and milestone emails), Sentry (error monitoring), Upstash (abuse prevention), Neon (database hosting), and Vercel (website hosting). We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Where we operate
AlbanianVoice currently serves students in the United States only.
Deleting your account
To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email support@albanianvoice.com. Requests are processed within 14 business days.
When we delete your account we remove the details that identify you — your name, your email address, and the link to your Google sign-in — along with your attendance history and any survey responses. We keep the underlying record of what you paid, because we are required to retain financial records for tax and accounting purposes; once your account is deleted those records are no longer connected to you by name or email. Stripe also keeps its own copy of each transaction under its own retention policy.
